My work is an exploration of nature, its forces, rhythms and the delicate balance between chaos and order. I am fascinated by how seemingly random processes create extraordinary beauty, from the movement of clouds and the shifting colours of the sky to the intricate patterns found throughout the natural world.
Painting allows me to escape the rigid geometry and structures of everyday life and reconnect with something more instinctive and organic.
Working primarily with oils, I use palette knives to build richly textured surfaces through spontaneous, intuitive gestures. I approach each painting without a predetermined composition, allowing colours, materials and movement to interact freely. Rather than controlling the outcome, I surrender to the process, embracing unpredictability and allowing the painting to find its own form.
My practice is rooted in the idea of a pattern without a pattern: the emergence of harmony from apparent randomness. I am interested not in reproducing nature, but in experiencing its underlying principles through the act of creation.
Each painting becomes a record of a fleeting moment, an encounter between intention and chance, where something unexpected can emerge and exist entirely on its own terms.
